PO&P is an accredited orthotic and prosthetic facility that has specialized in providing quality orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) care to patients throughout the Greater Delaware Valley area since 1983. At PO&P, our skilled professionals are American Board Certified Practitioners who are experts in the field of orthotics and prosthetics.

PO&P provides referring physicians with expert solutions for their patients' specific O&P needs.
As a full service facility, PO&P is able to fabricate a wide variety of unique and specialized orthotic and prosthetic devices, thus enabling patients to receive the best possible solution for their specific O&P needs. Out-patients are measured and fitted at one of our two conveniently located out-patient facilities in Philadelphia, PA and Voorhees, NJ. In-patient services are provided at local hospitals throughout the Greater Delaware Valley area.

Philadelphia Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (PO&P) was founded by Bill Penney, an American Board Certified (ABC) Prosthetist Orthotist with over thirty years of experience in the field. He is a graduate from the O&P programs at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Early in his career, Bill was employed by the O&P facility at Boston Children’s Hospital. In 1980, Bill was selected to set up and manage the first orthotic and prosthetic facility located in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Subsequently, Bill desired to open his own O&P facility and in 1983 founded Philadelphia Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.
